FXAA part 2

Some tests with the higher quality FXAA shader which you can read about here. These are mostly old screenshots that have been processed with the shader running in RenderMonkey. The console version I used in the previous post is good but this version is really working some magic :) Many thanks to Timothy at NVIDIA for making it available.

And some full screen examples...

Damn impressive, that's for sure. Been considering this approach for my own project. How well does it hold up on a moving scene?

Not sure yet, so far I've only tried it on stills in RenderMonkey, I'm hoping to try it out in game in the next few days though.

The shader is very easy to set up so I'd say it's well worth giving it a try.

Looks awesome :)
Have you tried dlaa? (used in force unleashed 2)
I'm wondering if that would create better anti-aliasing for your wires ...

I've had a look at DLAA, it's nifty but didn't seem to look as crisp as FXAA in it's higher quality presets.

As far as the thin window frames at the end of the hall, I don't think any purely post process AA will ever be able to fix those :)
